Millie Hansen Auditorium

Although Millie Hansen began teaching in 1941, her teaching days at Eastside didn't begin until her retirement when she began a 19-year relationship with the school that included mentoring choir teachers, accompanying groups and soloists on the piano and leading rehearsals.
The Millie Hansen Auditorium at Eastside Jr./Sr. High School has become the unofficial capital of the DeKalb Eastern Community. This beautiful theatre is available for rent and can easily accommodate 500 people. The facility is equipped with state of the art equipment including: |
